The Marlins aren't belly up just yet, but it is getting harder to swim near the bottom of the tank. The Fish trail the Phillies by six games and have six, including tonight, against them. If there was ever a need for a sweep, this is it. We will worry about the Mets later, first order of business is passing the Phillies.
Sanchez after showing pretty decent form early on has become erratic of late. Which is to be excepted from a player returning from shoulder surgery. I really don't know what to say. He has the skills and the talent to do well, but it is just a matter of whether his body is willing.
Blanton will be making his 10th start for the Phillies since coming over from Oakland. Honestly, I don't know much about him, other than gives up about a hit an inning. Since he has joined the Phillies, he has been pretty stingy giving up the long ball. Which says something since his home park is a band box. Blanton has never faced the Marlins.
Ichthyomancy still hates Mondays. Best of Luck to You!
