The Marlins are going for 10 wins in-a-row.

Sanchez's extra bullpen work showed some positive results his last time out. In fact, Anibal threw his first quality start since August 11. Since returning from shoulder surgery, he has been kinda mix bag. He does well against righties, but lefties are having a field day against him. He normally pitches well at home, but on the road not so much. If he can keep the walks to a minimum and keep the ball down in the zone, he should do okay. Control is everything for him.

Blanton, who has been battling right bicep tendinitis, has had similar problems to Anibal, in that he walks too many hitters. In other words control issues. Righties are hitting him at a .298 clip, while lefties are putting up a .251 BAA. He tends to pitch better at home than on the road. Which is interesting, considering that bandbox the Phillies call home. The last time Blanton faced the Marlins, September 8, he allowed 4 runs in 5 innings with 3 walks. He has been known to give up the long ball.

This the last Super Saturday of the season and the entertainment will be Lou Gramm.

Also, if you go to the game, you will get an orange and black Marlins umbrella. Perfect for Halloween, should it rain on October 31. If that wasn't enough, you will also receive an orange Marlins marca. Am I the only one who is tired of the front office trying to cram orange down our throats?

Ichthyomancy is ready for the weekend and is looking to keep the win streak alive. Best of Luck to You!
