The Marlins going for the series win today and it might not be a bad idea to get it.
Olsen had a rough first inning against the Braves but then settled down and pitched reasonably well. Of course, given his luck this season, the bullpen came in let every inherited runner score. The same as it ever was. Luckily, today's game is a day game. Olsen's ERA in day games is 2.77 as opposed to his night game ERA of 4.63. Also Scottie pitches better at home: a 2.98 ERA at home compared to his 5.78 ERA on the road.
If Martinez holds true to form for this season, he will be lights out for the first few innings and then start to fade. He has only pitched seven innings in two of his fifteen starts this year. Martinez does his best work at home but on the road not so much, his road ERA is 6.46. He has a nice day ERA of 2.57 but only averages about 5 innings per start in day games.
