The Marlins are going to try that elusive series win thing again tonight.
Volstad will he starting for the Marlins tonight. Volstad is a sinker ball pitcher. When it is not working he tends to give up too many hits and walks too many, but somehow finds a way to work around that. He does his best pitching on the road. His road ERA is 1.19 as opposed to his home ERA of 4.91. Go figure.
Petit, you remember him, he was part of one of the worst trades ever made by the Marlins. The Marlins traded him for Jorge Julio. When all was said and done after the 2007 season, the Marlins gave him to the Diamondbacks for free. Petit has only started 5 games this season but the most ER he has allowed in any of those starts is three.
Ichthyomancy is pretending like it is read. Best of Luck to You!
