But let's get back to the Marlins.
The Marlins are going to try that winning the series thing again today.
Johnson pitched reasonably well in his last start but the bullpen let him down. Johnson's main problem while he was in the game was throwing too many pitches for balls. He only walked three batters but went deep into the count on most. Johnson is the one Marlins pitcher who is a creature of the day. His day ERA is 2.84 as opposed to his night ERA of .380.
Palmer will be making his second start of his career and frankly, his first one stunk. Against Atlanta he went 2.1 innings giving up 6 runs, walking 4 and hitting a batter. I'm guessing that is not indicative of what he can potentially do.
