Or so says he.
"I'm OK. Everything feels good. My arm feels good,'' he said in his first comments since allowing five runs in two-thirds of an inning Sunday in a 9-2 loss to the Cubs. "I'm throwing strikes. But they hit my changeup, my fastball. They hit everything right now.''
Uh huh, and I'm suppose to take his word for it.
The strange thing about pitchers who are in a dead arm period, is they feel fine. However, their velocity is normally down on the fastball and the breaking balls don't break the way they should.
While it is apparent Pinto is getting too much of the plate with his pitches of late and nothing is working as before, it is not the least bit strange he wouldn't know why.
