Anibal Sanchez takes the mound

In case you so desire, Anibal Sanchez will be on the hill tonight in Jupiter.

Right-hander Anibal Sanchez, who is coming back from shoulder surgery, will make his second rehab start for Class A Jupiter at 6:35 tonight at Roger Dean Stadium. Sanchez will pitch for the Hammerheads against the Sarasota Reds.

Given that the Marlins are playing MIdnight Baseball out West, you could probably take in Anibal's start and get back home for the majority of the Marlins game, if not all of it.

If you do go, let us know how he looked.

Oh, in some other rehab/injury news:

Reliever Justin Miller had an MRI on his right elbow Monday in San Diego. The results revealed inflammation, which is a good sign because it didn't show any structural damage. Miller went on the disabled list on Saturday.

---

Burke Badenhop, on the disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis, threw 42 pitches off the mound on Monday. He didn't feel any discomfort.

---

Right-hander Sergio Mitre is throwing simulated games. Mitre has missed all season with right forearm tightness.

So far, so good.
