Joe Nelson joins the team

As you should know by now, Joe Nelson is a member of the Marlins 25-man roster .

The Marlins called up reliever Joe Nelson from Triple A Albuquerque (N.M.) and sent right-hander Eulogio De La Cruz back to Albuquerque after De La Cruz made an emergency start for the Marlins in Sunday's doubleheader against the Giants.

----

To make room for Nelson on the 40-man roster, the Marlins transferred outfielder Alejandro De Aza from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day DL.

Nelson being added to the team or moving De Aza to the 60-day DL wasn't the most interesting part of the article.  But this was:

Gonzalez will keep Burke Badenhop in the bullpen. Badenhop missed his start this weekend because of Saturday's rainout, and Gonzalez might or might not use him in a starting role.

If I had to venture a guess Badenhop will make his next scheduled start, whenever that is.  The Marlins have an off-day on Thursday so it is possible he can be skipped in the rotation once again.

But if the author of the article is implying that there is a chance that the Hopper could be out of the rotation, who will start in his place?  Kensing?  Waetcher?  Or will they bring someone else up?

Probably they will use him in the bullpen and try to skip him if they can, depending on how many innings the starters throw between now and then.  But he will remain in the rotation.
