It's time to start it anew and the Marlins are hosting the Padres in a three-game set.
Hendrickson appears to be coming into his own. Three of his last four starts were excellent and the other was pretty good. Mark has started four games against San Diego in his career posting a 1.83 ERA. Unfortunately he ended up a 1 and 2 record in the starts.
Germano will be making his first start ever against the Marlins. Oh, I was just checking his spilt stats and this is setting up well. Therefore, I won't mention them. With any luck, he won't right the ship tonight.
The Marlins are playing the Padres and that only means one thing: we get to visit with our SBNation sister site. Now, I'm not sure FishStripes has an "official" SBNation sister site but if we do it is Gaslamp Ball . Don't be surprised if Dex, jbox or some of the other ballers drop by for a visit. And hey, if you are an old timer head on over to Gaslamp, I know they will be happy to see you. Come to think about, even if you're brand new, go introduce yourself, they are good people. Ichthyomancy is a little different tonight, for you see: it's Bark at the Park Night. Besides your usual picks you will be guessing the number of dogs in attendance.
