The NL East Leading Marlins are going for another series win tonight.
The Hopper ran into a little difficulty when he gave up 5 walks in three innings in his last start. However, Badenhop thinks he knows what the problem was :
"The way I throw the ball it's normally low,'' Badenhop said. "I went out there the other day and tried to throw the ball low. When I do that then I'm throwing it out of the zone. When the ball is up, that's when I should try to throw the ball low.''
If that is indeed the case, he should look more like the Hopper we have high hopes for. This will be his first appearance, ever, against Atlanta.
James is an emergency call-up from Triple-A taking Tom Glavine's spot in the rotation. The Marlins faced him twice last season as a starter and didn't hit him for crap. In fact, in the two games, the Marlins only managed one run against him but did put together eleven strikeouts. But this season is all about busting trends like this. James is a lefty so look for Cody to play somewhere.
Ichthyomancy is set on ready and if the servers are willing then it is full steam ahead. And as always, Good Luck!
