Nolasco showed signs of being on the verge of returning to his old form in his first start of the season. However, he still needs to build arm strength and stamina so I wouldn't look for him to go too deep into the game. But it will come eventually.
If Smoltz is having any problems with his pitching shoulder, it isn't showing. Smoltz has been.......Smoltz, in his first two starts. Strangely, righties have had better luck against him than lefties so far this year.
