The Marlins are going to line up and try it again today. Hopefully this time the infielders plan to show up.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Byung-Hyun Kim.
The Mets have on the slate Oliver Perez.
Game time is 3:55 p.m.
Kim in his last outing wasn't his usual self when he gave up nine earned runs in only four innings. But we have something going for us in that he has been better in day games with a .229 BAA as opposed to night games where he has logged a .296 BAA this season.
Perez is a lefty and he had some control problems in his last start -- walking six in only 4.2 innings. The Marlins have faced him twice before this season and in the process scored 7 runs in the 10.2 innings he pitched. It should be noted that he tends to record a lot of strikeouts, along with the bases on balls.
Ichthyomancy is looking to do that spoiler thing again, along with some routine defense.
Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:
|Bobbob||15,000||Cabrera||Marlins: 10+ H|
|C60||23,500||Cabrera||Marlins: R > 7|
