Mitre is going on nine days rest, which means the time off may have helped to revitalized his "tired-arm" or it may mean next to nothing. We shall see. If his sinker isn't sinking, and given the Rockies hitters, the bullpen could get a workout.
Jiménez is starting to figure out this pitching thing. In his last six starts he has allowed no more than three runs in any of them. He one of these change of speed pitchers. Lefties normally hit him better than righties.
Renyel Pinto has been activated from the DL, so you could see him tonight if it becomes "all hands on deck". Welcome back Renyel.
