Flotsam and Jetsam

I wasn't sure how to handle the  following articles therefore it was time to breakout the ol' Flotsam and Jetsam.  I found them interesting, maybe you will too.

Marlins director of in-game entertainment, Gary Levy, keeps his noteworthy collection of Revolutionary War memorabilia at the stadium.

In the future if you want a frozen lemonade at the game, your cell will be a must.

My favorite quote in the immediately above article is:

Miramar resident Wali Shareef, who got Marlins tickets from a client recently, was delighted to find the stadium took credit cards.

"I only had $10 in my pocket," Shareef said. "I did see the ATMs, but when I was going in I wondered if they took credit cards. ... Most people don't carry cash."

If you have ever had your credit card number ripped off by the person who is operating the machine, it stays in the memory of the machine you know, you carry cash.  I know, it happened to me.  Your mileage may have varied.

Anyway, that ends today's Flotsam and Jetsam.
