Olsen will be making his 10th day start of the season, the most by any Marlins pitcher. Unfortunately, Scott is a creature of the night and doesn't do his best work during the day. If fact, he is sporting a day ERA of 6.48 for the season. If Olsen can avoid the giving up the big inning, which has plagued him in his last two starts, and somehow cope with pitching in the sunshine - he could return to form.
Albers will be making a spot start in place of the injured Chris Sampson. Albers has spent most of his time in the bullpen this season after being a part of the rotation at the start of the season. One interesting thing about him, he has been one crappy pitcher outdoors this season. He has appeared in 11 outdoors games while posting a 8.07 ERA. As compared to his 8 appearances indoors where he has put forth a 2.82 ERA.
