The Marlins are mercifully back at home after that road trip. The team will be welcoming the Braves, who have lost 5 of their last 6 games. I won't bring up the Marlins recent record because this is a fan blog and no one here wants to relive it.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Scott Olsen.
The Braves have on tap Lance Cormier.
Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Olsen had a rough outing in his last start after logging three beauties. He normally has better results at home and especially when he pitches at night. The other good news is the Braves are 23-30 against left-handed starters this season.
Cormier comes into the game with an 0-4 record along with a 9.00 ERA. He has made three starts against the Marlins in his career posting a 0-2 record with a 10.29 ERA. So look for him to do his Cy Young imitation tonight.
