Olivo may catch

It is very possible that Olivo will be today's catcher.

Catcher Miguel Olivo ran Sunday, and manager Fredi Gonzalez said that he would be available for today's game. He left Thursday's game against Arizona in the second inning with a strained groin. "It is more my quad," Olivo said. "If I ran, my whole leg got tight. It is beginning to feel normal."

I really don't see the reason for him to catch today.  It's a day game and after which the Marlins will board a plane for St. Louis.  Treanor has been filling the role admirably and there is no need to test Olivo's "legs" by having catch nine before a plane ride.  Another day of rest can't hurt.

That's my opinion and I can promise you this, the club never called me and asked for it, nor should they.
