Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Diamondbacks at Marlins (8/15)

Last night was fun, a bit anticlimactic, but fun nonetheless.  Of course, that is assuming you're a Marlins fan and I think it is a safe assumption that if you are reading this site, you are.  Therefore, it was fun.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Sergio Mitre.

The Diamondbacks will trot out Doug Davis to the mound.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Mitre, in his last start, got his sinker back on track and pitched well.  Which was impressive since all it did was rain for most of the time he was on the mound.  The Marlins have won his last three starts and five of his last seven.

Davis has been very good since the All-Star break.  In fact, he hasn't lost since the midseason classic.  The Marlins faced him on the trip out West and scored three runs in the 6.2 innings he pitched.  Davis has been known to give up the long ball from time to time.

Ichthyomancy is ready and able.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:
