The Marlins are...uh...playing the Mets again tonight.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Scott Olsen.
The Mets are planning to send to the hill some guy by the name of Tom Glavine.
Game time is 7:10 p.m.
Olsen pitched a beauty in his last start. The Marlins have won 8 of his last 12 starts. And if he goes 7+ IP, while allowing three runs or fewer, the Marlins have won all of his starts. Olsen is normally better at home than on the road, however, he does his best work at night.
Glavine will be making his first start since winning his 300th game. I'm sure the stadium will be all a flutter congratulating him on the historic achievement. Surprisingly, at least to me, his lifetime record in 45 starts against the Marlins is 17-18. It is unusual if he doesn't pitch at least six innings. Glavine is a lefty, so expect to see the Marlins lineup adjust accordingly.
If you would like to check on the pulse of the Mets fans, head on over to Amazin' Avenue.
