I would like to open this thread with a word of advice to the players: TAKE THE 7 TRAIN.
With that out the way let's get down tonight's pitching match ups.
The Marlins called up Daniel Barone to make the start.
The Mets will send Brian Lawrence to the hill for the second time this season.
Game time is 7:10 p.m.
Barone started the season the Double-A and was promoted to Triple-A before being called up. With the Isotopes he was undefeated, which ain't bad for the PCL.
How Lawrence will do is anybody's guess. He was a decent pitcher with San Diego a couple of years ago, but since that time has gone through shoulder surgery and an extensive rehab. Don't expect him to go much past five innings.
