The Marlins didn't start-off the way we were hoping for the series, but judging by the box score, there were no surprises. Olsen giving up a big inning is par for the course and the hitters having trouble with a good sinker ball pitcher, ain't nothing new.
But that was last night and it is done and forgotten.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Byung-Hyun Kim.
They have slated, Josh Fogg.
Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Kim needs to get control of the number of walks he gives up. In his last outing he only gave up one hit in 5.0 innings but allowed six walks. The Rockies will attempt to find every batter who hits from the left-side and have them in the lineup tonight. And trust me, they have left-handed hitters even though they didn't show it last night. Treanor should be catching.
Fogg will be going on extended rest since he missed his last start due to a rain out. He won his last two decisions and has posted a 1.38 ERA since the All-Star break. Righties tend to have more success against him.
