Vanden Hurk gets the Victory

Woo Hoo!

he whole idea of the Future's Game is to showcase the best young talent in baseball, and let fans see the minor-league players of today who will be in the big leagues tomorrow.
And then there's Rick Vanden Hurk, who made six starts for the Marlins this season and then started and became the winning pitcher Sunday as the World Team beat the U.S. Team 7-2 at AT&T Park.

''I don't know what the rules are, I just know when they called me to pitch in this game it was awesome,'' said Vanden Hurk

I don't know what the rules are either, but there is no doubt, he made us proud.  Way to go Rick!
