The Padres are going to send out some guy by the name of Jake Peavy.

Kim was excellent in his last start but didn't get end up with the win. In fact, it has been over month since he has logged a W but that is not all his fault, though he shares some blame in a couple of them. Kim has never pitched at PETCO before, but he needs to be at his best today. The park should help.
Peavy is....Do the Padres have a starter that sucks? Because I haven't seen one. I really can't believe that the Padres are being so selfish to allow Peavy to start this game. I mean, it will only give him his normal four days of rest before the All-Star game and clearly he needs an extra day.
Today we say goodbye to our friends at Gaslamp Ball. Well not completely since we, or at least I, will be checking on them from time to time. But this is the last game the Marlins play against the Padres this season.
