Today I'm writing fast and terse.
Here is the Walking Wounded Report.
Josh Johnson will make a rehab start for Class A Jupiter on Friday, where he will throw three innings, or no more than 50 pitches. The right-hander went on the DL on July 5 after experiencing stiffness in his right forearm in a July 4 start at San Diego.
Ricky Nolasco (elbow) continues his throwing schedule and he is close to facing batters. Henry Owens (shoulder) has begun light throwing in Jupiter.
Aaron Boone (left knee) has begun light exercises, but he hasn't begun baseball activities. Alejandro De Aza (stress fracture, left ankle) is at least two to two-and-a-half weeks away from being activated.
Logan Kensing (Tommy John surgery) will face batters next week.
Just letting you know.
