Olivo trying a bigger glove

I hope it helps.

Catcher Miguel Olivo plans to use a bigger glove to help cut down on passed balls.

Olivo went into Sunday leading all catchers in baseball with 12 passed balls after being charged with two in the fourth inning Friday.

Normally, this is the usual procedure for a catcher if they are catching knuckle ballers.  But I guess it has come to this since Olivo can't catch anyone who has movement on their pitches.  I'm glad he is trying to correct the problem and I hope it works, but it could actually lead to more pass balls if the bigger glove just allows him to deflect more balls instead of catching them.
