Once again the Marlins find themselves in sweep avoidance mode at home. History appears to be on the side of the Fish since the Braves haven't swept the Marlins in Florida in over 12 years.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Dontrelle Willis.
The Braves have Buddy Carlyle slated to do their bidding.
Game time is 1:05 p.m. and it is on TBS.
Willis had pretty good outing the last time he pitched but ended up with the loss. The reason being was that the offense didn't show up. In Dontrelle's last four decisions the offense have averaged 1.5 runs per contest. It would be nice if the bats decided to show up today since Willis is, without a doubt, the team's best day game pitcher.
Carlyle pitched a one-hitter for seven innings in his only start against the Marlins earlier this season. So far this season lefties are killing him, therefore expect to see most of the Marlins left-handed hitters in the lineup.
