The Marlins are at .500 and looking to go higher. Last night was a strange night but the bats did come alive and to the rescue.
The starting pitcher for the Marlins is Dontrelle Willis.
The D-Rays will send out their best, so far this season, James Shields.
Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Willis is second the League in wins will hopefully improve on that number tonight. His last outing he didn't have his best stuff and struggled with his control. If he can get the number of walks in check, he should be fine. Dontrelle has a lifetime 2-1 record against the Rays with a 1.80 ERA.
Shields has yet to lose to game this season, posting a record of 5-0 with an ERA of 3.08. That undefeated mark won't last forever and tonight seems like a good night to introduce him to the joys of losing. The Fish faced him earlier this season in which he went seven innings and only gave 1 ER. However, he is a bit prone to give up the long ball.
If you are going to the game, tonight is Disco Night. So do your best John Travolta imitation and make us all proud.
