Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Twins at Marlins (6/24)

Last night didn't go so well, but that happens when you play 162.  The Marlins will be trying for the series win again today and believe it or not, it will be tougher.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Byung-Hyun Kim.

The Twins are sending some guy by the name of Johan Santana to the hill.

Game time is 1:05 p.m.

Kim is starting in place of Willis and will be facing the Twins for the first time in his career.  In fact, Minnesota is the only major league team that Kim has never faced.  Since joining the Marlins Kim has logged a 2-1 record with a 4.28 ERA.

Santana is a former Marlin who was traded to the Twins in 1999 for Jared Camp, in what was possibly the Worst Trade Ever.  Santana is a lefty and is arguably the best pitcher in the game today.

Ichthyomancy is ready for the usual Sunday day game.
