Walking Wounded

Going through this very quickly.

Anibal Sanchez is scheduled to see Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., today, and the worst fear is Sanchez could need reconstructive surgery on his right shoulder.

''We won't know until the doctor tells us something, but there is an obvious concern,'' Beinfest said. ``The shoulder just doesn't feel well.''

---

Beinfest said the Marlins weren't going to rush right-hander Ricky Nolasco, who has been out since May 18 with elbow inflammation, but Beinfest did expect reliever Henry Owens (shoulder inflammation) to rejoin the team before the All-Star break. Beinfest said he was ''encouraged'' by Logan Kensing's first start at Jupiter on Monday. Kensing, coming back from Tommy John surgery, hit 93 mph on the radar gun.

I starting to think if the Marlins relocate, God forbid, the best spot would be Birmingham, Alabama.  That way the team could save a ton of money in player travel costs.
