Mitre didn't exactly pitch badly in his last start when he returned from his hamstring injury that landed him on the DL. But as the innings wore on, so did he. Hopefully, he is regaining strength in his leg and also his throwing arm. If he can be some resemblance of himself before the injury, the White Sox should have a lot of trouble with his sinker.
Garland didn't fair so well against the Pirates in his last outing, giving up 11 hits in 6 IP. The White Sox have lost half of his starts, this season, and the ones he hasn't factored into to the decision, they have lost everyone of those. Garland is a righty.
