The Marlins will be looking for their first win in the series tonight. In fact, they need to win the next two games in order to get a split.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Byung-Hyun Kim.
The Brewers will trot out to the mound, Chris Capuano.
Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Kim had is best start, so far, this season in his last outing going 6 IP, only allowing 3 H and giving up 0 R in the process. Of course, that was against the Cubs who seem to be more interested in hitting each other than hitting a baseball. In the past, Kim hasn't had much luck in Miller Park posting a 8.44 ERA in the leaky roof wonder. (Yes, I know I am a Marlins fan and should be the last one to say something disparaging about another team's park, but I couldn't resist.)
Capuano is a lefty and he can be hit. In his last 5 outings he has given up at least 7 seven hits each of his starts. He normally doesn't walk a lot of batters but that doesn't matter since the Marlins don't take many walks. He is considered to be the ace of the staff by many. The Fish faced him last year when he made two starts against the team and he posted a 0-1 record with a very respectable 3.46 ERA.
Ichthomancy is always ready for action on the weekend. The Sausages Race picks are still in play, so don't forget to make your pick. We didn't get the results from last night, but that happens. My guess is the person who updates the site had a little too much fun in the Beer Pen. So when the person
comes to wakes up, the results will be posted. As a reminder, the options are: Bratwurst, Polish, Italian, Hot Dog and Chorizo.
Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:
