The Marlins will be trying for the series win today. Unfortunately the Fish have a better record at night and the D-Rays do some of their best work during the day.
The Marlins starting pitcher is Rick Vanden Hurk.
The D-Rays will trot out Andy Sonnanstine to the hill.
Game time is 1:05 p.m.
Vanden Hurk was stellar in last start pitching 6 shutout innings while only allowing one hit. His previous four appearances didn't go as well, so maybe he is coming into his own.
Sonnanstine, who I bet was in high school before he learned how to spell his last name, will be making his second Major League start. The first was against Toronto on Tuesday where he pitched seven innings allowing 6 ER while striking out 5.
