This is the last day of the legislative session and the Marlins are on the docket but there is very little chance of the bill passing.
MARLINS: Once again, the perennial bill to seek state financing for a Marlins retractable-roof stadium will remain unresolved until the final hours of the final day.
It is extremely doubtful the bill will see serious discussion on the senate floor. While nothing is without hope, I wouldn't count on it.
Rumor has it that there will be a special session called by the Governor which will take place from June 5-15. Of course, if it happens, there is no guarantee that the Marlins tax break will be addressed. But there is always hope and that is about all we have at this time.
