The Marlins pitching coach won't be in Washington with the rest of the team this evening. He has something better to do.
Pitching coach Rick Kranitz flew to Arizona following Thursday's game to attend his daughter's graduation from the University of Arizona. Kranitz will rejoin the team Saturday in Washington.
Congratulations to Ms. Kranitz on her graduation from college and also to the proud Papa Rick.
