Olsen has never had a decision against the Mets but most of that is fault of the bats. He has a career ERA of 3.81 against the Metropolitans. While Scott hasn't been his best of late, his last outing showed a lot of spunk.
El Duque may or may not start. He has been experiencing tightness in his pitching shoulder which may cause him to be held back. If he doesn't pitch, the Mets could call up Chan Ho Park from New Orleans or move Mike Pelfrey up.
Speaking of New Orleans and the Mets, Sarah Talalay witnessed the opening day game of the Zephyrs and gave a report on her blog. If you read the story it ends with: So, let's Geaux Mets! While that is a wonderful way to end the story, being a former resident of Louisiana, Metairie isn't actually in the French speaking part of the state. But I'm probably being unnecessarily pedantic.
