Still Making History

The Marlins continue their history making ways this year but this one required a little help from our opponents.

Monday marked the first time two Hispanic managers made their major league debuts in the same game.

The Cuban-born Fredi Gonzalez and Dominican native Manny Acta are two of three Latin managers in the game along with the White Sox's Ozzie Guillen (Venezuela).

It never should have taken this long.  But now that the gates are open it will only get better in the future.  And that, is only a good thing for the game of baseball.
