The date has been set to makeup the rain out in Atlanta.
Washed out on April 14, the Marlins and Braves will now play a split doubleheader on June 5 at Turner Field. The first game begins at 2:30 p.m. ET, with the nightcap scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m.
A year ago, the Marlins had three rainouts -- all on the road -- that led to them playing three doubleheaders.
Because of the extra game, the Marlins' already long road trip got a little longer.
The Marlins now will play 11 games in a 10-day span.
Nothing like making a road trip longer. I hope our pitching is in better shape by that date, if not, some one will probably be called up to make a spot start.
