Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Astros (4/17)

The Marlins will try it again today against the Astros and it isn't going to get any easier.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Sergio Mitre.

The Astros will send to the hill, Roy Oswalt.

Game time is 8:05 p.m.

Mitre isn't off to the best of starts, to say the least, but he has performed well against the Astros in the past.  His career record at Minute Maid is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA.

Oswalt is being rushed up for this start and will be going on three-days rest.  He last pitched on Friday throwing 120 pitches.  The Marlins haven't had much luck against him in the past, considering that he has posted a 2-0 record against the Fish with a 0.78 ERA at Minute Maid.  But if the Astros want to destroy their franchise arm, who am I to stop them.

Ichthyomancy is ready to go.  Oh, in the future if your AAB pick is something like RBI=H or HR=SB and if it ends up being 0=0, it won't count.  Pathetic showings at the plate will not be rewarded. Now, if you pick something on the order of ER=BB and the total is 0=0, that will, since it is a good thing.  Just letting you know.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:
