Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Brewers at Marlins (4/10)

The Marlins relief pitcher is TBA.

The Brewers will send Greg Aquino out to start the contest.

Game time is 7:05 p.m

The game will start in the top of the 11th.

Oh, if you were actually at the game and have your rain soaked ticket stub, you are in luck.

The Marlins continue on their winning ways and once again face the Brewers tonight.

Tonight's game features a very interesting match up between the starting pitchers.

The starting pitcher for the Marlins is Rick Vanden Hurk.

The Brew Crew will trot out Claudio Vargas to the hill.

Game time is 7:05 p.m.

This will be Vanden Hurk's Major League Debut.  Just to make all the better for him, his parents are flying in from the Netherlands to watch their boy in action.  I'm guessing they feel right at home in the orange colored seats for a sporting event.

A bit of trivia:  Vanden Hurk's real first name isn't Rick, that is the Americanized version.  His first name is actually Henricus.  Fun facts to know and tell.

Vargas is a former Arizona project who has had some luck against the Marlins in JRS in the past.  He has made three starts in our "home stadium" and has posted a 2-1 record with a 2.65 ERA.

Ichthyomancy is front and center.  It is a night game so there isn't any hurry, but make sure you get your picks in on time.
