ESPN did some kind of satisfaction survey of 80,000 fans to determine the various team's satisfaction ranking amongst the faithful.
The Marlins finished number 84 in the field of the 122 professional sports teams. And 23rd in the rankings when just MLB teams were considered.
The Marlins did well in the "Affordability", "Player effort on the field and likability off it" and "Title Track". The team didn't score so hot in "Ownership" or "Stadium Experience". But nonetheless when it was all added up we finished above the Red Sox.
I most definitely wouldn't put much faith in this survey but it is kinda nice to finish ahead of the aforementioned Red Sox, the Mariners, Giants, Cubs and the Orioles. Even if the results make little sense.
