Aaron lost something of extreme value.
Aaron Boone spent batting practice searching for his glove.
"It was stolen, and I'm not very happy about it," he said. "It was the only infield glove that I had. It was the best-feeling glove that I've had."
Boone used Jason Woods' glove during the game at third base and made no errors.
"I've got several gloves in my locker," Boone said, "but none of them have been broken in at all."
Red Sox fans. They just can't let anything go.
Hopefully it is just a prank and the glove will turn up. If it isn't, the pain of breaking in a new glove is in his future.
