Tankersley continues to show improvement.
Taylor Tankersley (left shoulder tendinitis) threw live batting practice Sunday. If he feels no discomfort today, he will pitch one inning in a minor -league game Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sounds good.
I will still be surprised if Tankersley is on the 25-man roster come opening day. While it doesn't take relievers as long to get ready for major league action as it does starters, it is hard to believe that he will be ready to go on April 2. More than likely he will take part in extended spring training for at least a week at the start of the season.
