We have a Winner!

If you remember the Super Bowl bet between the two states respective Lt. Governors, it turns out the outcome does have a Marlins Flavor.

Indiana Lt. Governor Becky Skillman today collected on her friendly Super Bowl wager with her colleague, Illinois Lt. Governor Pat Quinn, as the Indianapolis Colts triumphed over the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI by a score of 29-17. Lt. Gov. Skillman will receive four tickets to watch the Chicago Cubs take on the Florida Marlins at Wrigley Field on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.

The Lt. Gov. plans to donate the tickets to kids in Indiana whose parents are actively serving in the Military.  Which is a nice thing to do.  Now if we can just find a way to send them all Marlins t-shirts to wear at the game, their victory over Illinois favorite professional football team will be complete.
