The trial that has kept Fredi in Georgia may be coming to an end or at least that is what he thinks.
The Marlins caravan will get under way today without new manager Fredi Gonzalez.
Last month, Gonzalez was selected for jury duty and advised the case could require a six- to eight-week commitment. Gonzalez said Sunday he expects things to wrap up this week and anticipates arriving in South Florida no later than Saturday.
Fredi may be veteran of the trial process and can predict its ending date with ease. My experience is, it always takes longer than you think. But hopefully he is right and will be with the team from the start of spring training, it would be best for him and the players.
