The Weekend Chum Bucket

The weekend has finally arrived and not a moment too soon.

There probably won't be much happening with the Marlins until the winter meetings start on Monday.  But that doesn't mean we can't discuss them in the meantime.  And if you want to talk Marlins or anything else for that matter, this is the place to do it.

Oh, big time kudos to (in order of appearance) Mbaamin, Fishcrazy and Dan for picking up the ball and running with it in yesterday's Chum Bucket.  Great work, gentlemen.  Check it out, if you haven't already, lots of good stuff posted there.

If you are looking for a job, the Marlins are hiring.

The search is on for a new Marlins in-game stadium entertainment host.

At 5 p.m. ET on Dec. 11, the Marlins will be holding a casting call to find a "Marlins Vision" host for Friday and Saturday night games at Dolphin Stadium. The team is looking for a high-energy person to handle being in front of the microphone, along with interviewing fans and celebrities.

Participants must be 18 or older.

I'm not exactly sure everything the job entails but if you think it is a fit for you, click on the link for more details.  And if you do score the job, let us know.  We promise we won't ask you to get us free tickets until after opening day.  After that, all bets are off.

Have a Great Weekend!
