Spring Training Schedule Released

The boys of summer always start warming up in the spring.  While the previous statement is far from accurate, it doesn't belittle the fact that we now have a home spring training schedule for Roger Dean Stadium.

Marlins pitchers and catchers will undergo their physicals for Spring Training on Feb. 17, and workouts will begin the next day at the Roger Dean Stadium complex in Jupiter, Fla.

---

While pitchers and catchers will go through their first workouts on Feb. 18, position players will take their physicals on Feb. 20. The team's first full-squad workout is set for Feb. 21. Workouts are open to the public.

---

Ticket prices for individual games at Roger Dean Stadium start at $26 for field box, $24 for loge box and $12 for bleachers.

While this isn't cheap, at least by my standards.  However what you will be buying with your money is one of the enjoyable experiences in all of the sports.  Of course it would help if you have at least heard of most of the players in the Marlins organization.  But even if you haven't, it is still fun, or at least that is what I've been told.

Here is the complete Marlins home schedule for Roger Dean Stadium.

Included in the home spring training schedule are the final spring training games vs. the Yankees in JRS.  Should you buy some sort of a package, it probably won't include these two.  While I don't know that for certain, it is probably the way to bet.
