Stealing from the Orange Bowl

You know, that really good idea you had about taking home a souvenir from the last game at the Orange Bowl.  Well, it turns out that the City of Miami wants to spoil all the fun.

With the days winding down before the University of Miami Hurricanes play their final football game in the historic Orange Bowl, police, university and city officials are reminding fans that taking remnants of Miami's landmark sports venue will land them in jail.

Come Nov. 10, fans may try to take a piece of history with them -- from seats to signs or anything else they can get their hands on -- when the Hurricanes play their final game at the Orange Bowl against Virginia.

I'm not exactly sure why they are doing laying down the law.  The only reason I can come up with is that they plan to selloff the mementos in some later auction.

This has been a public service announcement.
