Another Record Set

Never let a day go by.

As Dan mentioned in the Open Thread comments last night, another new team record was set in last night's game.  Though Dontrelle probably wasn't thrilled about becoming the holder of this record.

Team records seem to be falling often, and Dontrelle Willis set a dubious club record.

Willis grazed Damion Easley with a pitch in the sixth inning for his 17th hit batter, a team single-season record. Kevin Brown hit 16 batters in 1996.

Dontrelle, before his career is through, will probably hold every pitching record the Marlins have on the books.  And I mean everyone of them.

If one plans on rewriting the record book, rewrite the whole stinkin' thing.
