The honors keep rolling in for the young team and this one is richly deserved.
Rookie right-hander Anibal Sanchez was named National League Player of the Week for throwing a no-hitter Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.
Since it had been over 800 days since the last no-hitter was thrown in the Majors, this comes as no surprise he was honored for his accomplishment.
