Open Thread and Ichthyomancy: Marlins at Brewers (9/1)

The Marlins continue on their tour of ballparks named after beer companies by playing the Brewers tonight at Miller Park.

The Marlins starting pitcher is Anibal Sanchez.  The Brewers will trot out to the hill Chris Capuano.

Game time is 8:05 p.m.

Sanchez pitched very well in his last four starts but only won one of them.  Hopefully the offense will help out tonight.  Sanchez threw 114 pitches in his last outing.  So he may not be as strong as usual.

Capuano is a lefty.  The Marlins have seen him before and only got 4 hits off him in 6 innings.  Fortunately two of those hits were home runs.  He has pitched very well in his last four starts.  The good news is that his team gives him very little run support in his outings.

Ichthyomancy is up for the challenge.  We are doing something a little different for this series.  In Milwaukee they have the famed Sausage Race, so you will be picking a winner in the race.  Your options are:  Bratwurst, Polish, Italian or Hot Dog.  Italian is the leader in clubhouse so far this season.  The sausage picks will not show up in the table but they will count nonetheless.  All of this is assuming we get to see the results and I think we will.

Here's today's Ichthyomancy pick table:
